Community Foundation of Alberta grants JDS $5000 to start a skating program!

We are very blessed to have been awarded this generous grant for $5000, so we can spread joy in our community through the purchase of skates and helmets to be shared among our students and families as part of an up-and-coming skating program at JDS! Congratulations!
A special thanks to Ms. Danae Stone and Miss Tori Norlin who worked together with Mr. Fred Jack to apply for this grant.
Students and families will also have an opportunity to rent skates and helmets from the school so they can enjoy this Canadian winter tradition outside of school hours!
We look forward to the new year when we can begin planning the details of this skating program! See you on the ice!
