October Principal's Message

A great September this year at JDS is now officially in the books! Several highlights for me over the last month; i) Welcome back event, ii) 500 Anabaptist Celebration, iii) Field Trip. iv) Terry Fox Run, v) Two successful hot lunches, vi) New students and staff making our school an even great place. These are just a few of the highlights from what has been a wonderful start to the 2025-2026 school year. In addition, we are seeing so much wonderful learning taking place. The FISH! Philosophy is a wonderful support to support all staff and students each day; and allows our school to be a great place to learn, be with friends, and develop as young people. FISH! focus on being there, making other peoples day, play, choosing your attitude. Parents are welcome and encouraged to attend our next school council meeting on October 6th.
